Happy Friday

My son and I are hanging out while daddy is out at a photo shoot that will be tonight and tomorrow morning. My other half is normally the stay at home parent so I think our son gets confused when mommy is the one home not working! Shameless shoutout for my other half's photography page:
https://www.facebook.com/jaykgrittmanphotography

I love that he is so creative and has so many passions he has been doing photography for about 10 years now and loves it.
So the other night I did my first "cat lady" post and I got about 3 times as many views on that post as I have ever had on ANY other post, SO from now on I will probably end each posts with some cats for the cat lady in all of us!

Thank you all for the recent views, I would love to read your favorite blogs (or maybe your own blog), leave a comment with a link!

Happy Friday and Happy Weekend!

Friday Funny

I am suffering from my 6th sinus infection in the past year currently. This is also the weekend of my 3 year anniversary, so I'm trying to kick this infections butt! Thank you vitamin C and Elderberry syrup.

The puppy is your Happy Friday.

Fresh Face Friday

So while my son is refusing to go to sleep, I decided I will update you on my recent trial of Olay Fresh Effects courtesy of my Influenster Vox Box!

I have been trying so hard lately to get into a good face washing routine, especially since summer is coming up. However, I've been having such a hard time finding a product I like, I've tried everything from brands such as Lush to Target's generic brand. So, I was pretty happy to find this in my vox box. The little tool you see on the right is the actually massaging cleanser- and it vibrates REALLY strong, but it feels great on your face. It's very simple and it left my face feeling SO SO SO soft the next day, I am so impressed. This is by far my favorite product out of my Vox Box so far, it's one I will be repurchasing when I am done.

Love love love this, thank you Olay and Influenster.

Selling on Ebay

First off Happy Friday from Lennon and I:

Secondly, I have recently started selling some of our old baby stuff on eBay for extra income. We have so many clothes that our son never wore or wore once and that are in excellent condition. I ordered priority and express mail packages from the USPS which they provide free of charge and give you a flat rate on the packages, you can even print labels from home and the post man will pick them up from your door step! Luckily one of my favorite mom's has given me so many tips to make my listings more appealing!

TIPS:
-Make the most of your package, see how much you can fit in your package! A medium flat rate priority mail box costs $11.35 to ship so I fit at least 25 items in the box, I will always try to include more for free!
-Offer discounts for second packages, especially if you can fit them all in one box!
-Ship internationally, just remember it will cost more to ship so make sure you calculate your costs.

There are so many ways to make money at home/supplement your income. Don't miss out! You can click on the picture to view my link and get an idea of my listing tips in action

Food Friday

Tonight's dinner was DELICIOUS, super easy and pretty healthy!

Ingredients:
  • 1-4 large boneless skinless chicken breast (use as many as you want per person or if you are cooking for multiples use more)
  • Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce
  • Franks Red Hot
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Garlic Powder
  •  salt/pepper to taste
Boil the chicken breast in a pan full of water, should take about 20 minutes but the time will depend on your oven, make sure the chicken is cooked all the way.

Set the chicken on a plate and shred away using a fork. Place all the shredded chicken pieces in a bowl:

Add BBQ Sauce, Franks Red Hot, Red Pepper Flakes, Garlic Powder all to taste. If you want it more spicy add more of the red pepper flakes and franks red hot, if you want a BBQ flavor add more BBQ Sauce. Mix all the ingredients until the chicken is all covered:

Place in the fridge for about an hour or two to let the flavor marinate into the chicken.

The chicken will already be fully cooked, but place on a skillet to heat up and to cook the flavors into the chicken (I recommend cooking on medium heat so you don't burn your chicken-or dry it out):

The best part about this chicken is you can put it in a wrap, on a salad, eat it by itself or the method in our house tonight was to place on hamburger buns and enjoy:

Super easy super tasty!
