You name your kid Lennon and everyone wants to be his friend...

Lennon had a swim party to go to on Saturday, he had a blast even made off with a super awesome party bag.

This saturday he's going to a kids gym type place for another birthday party, his grandpa is also coming up that day to party.

Then on the 22nd it's his girlfriends one year birthday and the weekend after that it's his older ladies friends birthday.

On top of it all his dad's birthday is the 23rd!

Busy busy busy June. Plus it's already been like 105+ and I did not get into my skimpy clothing shape at all.... so as much as i hate the word "diet" thats what my butt will be doing so I can not melt in this heat.

Got my French Lavender layers in the mail yesterday and I've already used two tabs. Sad thing is it only comes with five tabs. Okay its 935, my sleeping medication is kicking in and my son is driving one of his cars up and down the neighbors wall, SO I should probably head in for the night.

Product reviews are still coming, we had some issues with the veet, but other than that I am obsessed with the rest. I will update more soon. Thank you to all those who have given me opportunities!

It's starting to look a lot like Christmas

We got our Christmas tree up finally and our son seems to like it. We decided on an artificial tree this year and we are already missing the smell of a real one. Thank goodness for scentsy and the festival of trees smell (https://ramelle.scentsy.us/Scentsy/Buy/ProductDetails/RS-FOT) we just spray it on our tree and BAM smells like Christmas ;) What kind of tree do you use in your house if/when you have toddlers? Real or Fake?

Now it's time to add the ornaments and wrap the presents. We got my son a Mickey doll from the Disney store that is almost the same size as him and I am so excited for him to see it, especially since I know his greatest joy will come from the wrapping paper and boxes everything else is in. If only everyone was so easy to shop for!

We will be hosting our 2nd annual Christmas party next weekend and I will be making an assortment of pinterest inspired gifts for people to take home, I am so excited about it actually. This is on the top of my list:

However I will make it a little more adult inspired and add a bottle of Baileys or Kahlua to mix with the hot chocolate... YUM.

Holiday shopping?

I can't believe that Christmas is less than two months away, this year went by so fast. I say that every year but I think since having a child time goes by even faster. I try to cherish every moment even more!

It's funny too me that the Furby is predicted to be one of the hottest toys of the holiday season, I remember when I was in elementary school my step mom worked at Wal-Mart and she got me one at midnight the day they came out. I'm pretty sure she came home battered and bruised good thing she is no longer a retail employee. What I find the most funny is how things always come back around. Don't know what a furby is.... I don't know that you want to know, but if you do you can check it out by clicking on the picture:

These things are going from $50-$90 and they are already selling out! Seems like the earlier 90's all over again!

What is your favorite part about the holiday season? I am so excited to bake some healthy versions of the holiday favorites and spend time with family. Last year my son was too little to realize what was going on but this year I know he will be SO excited!

I am Back!

So it's been a long hectic week and I am so so so happy tomorrow is Friday! I will be doing a pamper party girls night with Scentsy, It Works and Slumber Party products! I love hosting these events to help my friends (and myself) bring in extra income!

Our local party city opened up a liquidation center and had EVERYTHING marked down to $1, so we got most of the birthday supplies for both my mom's 50th and my son's 1st for a GREAT deal. Plus I'm making a lot of the supplies on my own thanks to pinterest!

On a healthier note, I am attempting to lose 10 more pounds by our San Diego trip next month, plus I have 40 more pounds to go to hit my goal weight and a total of 120 pounds lost! 80 pounds so far, I hit a plateau and got super discouraged but sought the guidance of a friend of mine who was in the same position as I was after she had her daughter and she steered me in the right direction. I am now eating 5 small meals a day to equal about 1100-1200 calories. I am using PROFIT (https://wrapyourwaytothin.myitworks.com/Shop/Product/933) protein shakes to supplement one meal a day and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! I mix mine with either almond milk or water and they are delicious both ways. I bought a blender bottle:

 on Amazon, they run about $5-$10 depending on the size you get but they are AMAZING perfect for your protein shakes, or morning smoothie/juice blends.

My friend also recommended I try the Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown. Now I am a huge fan of The Biggest Loser and of Jillian Michaels who dealt with her own weight loss struggles, however I also know she is a fast past trainer and well I'm not in the best shape. However when I saw Yoga I was thinking this will be a great routine to ease into.... It's a great routine but it's not your typical yoga, it's a fast paced repetition based yoga. You will sweat and you will get your heart rate going, you will also feel the burn the next day. If you are new to Yoga or working out in general, they do have a beginner model showing you modified versions of the poses. It's a great workout though, it has 2 different levels and I would definitely recommend it!
